11.73 , 11.75 , 11.76 , but not as fast

some new times for me
1.62 , 7.5@90.5 , 11.76@115.5<----shifted @7600
1.67 , 7.5@91.5 , 11.75@115.7<----shifted @7500-7600
1.67 , 7.5@92.9 , 11.73@116.5<----shifted @7200
I had a hell of a time getting out of the hole , the frist 8 run's were CRAP 12.0-12.4 and 60' from 1.9-2.1 and i was getting a wheel hop alot yesterday . I would like to have the 1.62 when i shifted @ 7200 that should have = a 11.6 but iam inconsistant its not even funny . Iam going to look into to the rear bushings to help with the read wheels hopping . I lost one T-case to wheel hoop and dont want to lose another . Still on a stock turbo (9.8) , 110 octane , 30+psi , dynoflash + afc

Matt55:

So basically your settup is stock 9.8 turbo, cams, alcohol, custom tuned, afc, but do you still have stock injectors and stock ignition?

Your a good drag racer.

I took mine out for the 1st time and kept spinning the tires in 1st or missing the shifts - I couldn't get one run w/o messing up

Well, at least you're hitting 11.7s easily. I would take any of those 1.6s right now, because that would be all I need to hit that coveted 11.9, but even with my measly power, I'm spinning all 4 out of the hole every time even with my tire pressure down to 21psi. I'm beginning to wonder if it's just due to lack of tread depth on the stock tires (13k)...I'm not sure.

What psi are you running in your tires, and is it a feathered slip launch or more of a 6500 dump?

My frist runs i was spinning all 4 BAD . Wheel hop , spinning it just sucked .The last 3 run i stoped "over thinking" about the rpm/launch and just done the blip blip blip 5-6k and on the thrid blip let the clutch out . The 1.62 I was watching a ls1 red light next to me so iam pretty sure i was thinking to hard about the launch . It still spun bad but it worked . 30 psi , toyo proxy4 255/40/17 10k on them .

Even though you may ride on the short bus, your good now.

Got another question if you don't mind - What was your 1/8 ET, trap, and 60ft when you were spinning badly.

I ask because, due to my tires, I spun 2 times on the front wheels, and once with all four (car started to drift sideways). This would give me theoretical ballbark ET figure on the impact of tire spin (what I may expect with traction).

WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing

Your car is going to get a real fast time when you nail a good 60'

This is great stuff

I, personally can say that this is what I like to see. Lately there has been to much focus on dyno numbers which do not mean anything. Track times do not lie.

No, but race gas with the S-AFC tuned on top of the flash and boost raised like I do.

30 psi, are you refering to your tire pressure or your boost? if not , what boost are you running and holding?
