considering the crappy launch...with the cutout/test pipe....would you guys consider my car to have some power..or ya think its an average IX? i drove another IX and mine felt a little beastier, nothing insane, but it could have been my imagination.

Hmm, not really. A few cars not doing well does not make Moroso a slow track. I've followed Dr. Mr and Scott's travails at that track, and they've always done well.

Also, to go from 98 to 115mph (17mph gain = 170mph) would take more than "light mods."

Sean I- Hey Sean. Thanks and I'm not worried. I have been racing at Moroso since 1988 and believe me its slow track compared to any other track within the area. I have always run 2-3 tenths faster everywhere else and so does everyone else I know. I've even race street bikes at Moroso and have gone slower than tracks like Orlando.

when i first picked up my IX, all i did was put a JUN BL catback on it and it went 13.01 @ 106 mph (60 ft - 1.99s). you are absolutely right about launching these things with a stock clutch. I figure the car is good for 12.6 - 12.7 with a decent launch. since then i have a flash in it as well which netted about 37 awhp on a dynojet. i will try again this spring with the flash.
