warrtalon- I posted all the info on the slips. I was also on 93 octane. I set my boost warning light at 22psi and never saw it come on. On the third pass I looked down and was running 20.5psi. I added one click for the fourth pass but I got a warning light and saw 24psi, so I lifted and coasted to a 13.9/72. I really think with a boost controller holding a steady 21psi I could've possibly hit a 11.90 pass which absolutely amazes me. Now time to save up for a good clutch, cam, and a small retune
Does your dynoflash raise the rev limiter?

I think my Works id raised 200 RPM.

Thanks!

Seriously though, I want to see someone go into the 11's with race gas on the IX with tbe/tune and mbc if you absolutely insist...
I'm actually confused by both comments:

Is the first one a crack on Al? It appears this car was definitely tuned properly. No, the wink doesn't hide the crack.

What do you mean by "and mbc if you absolutely insist"? Without an MBC, they wouldn't be able to take advantage of the race gas. You need to be able to crank the boost up to make use of it, but 11s would be no problem as long as the rev limiter is raised at least 200rpm.

The one he got was based off the BR350 flash that does not raise the rev limiter for warranty reasons. Since it has been confirmed that IXs are definitely going to be limited in the 1/4 with the stock rev limiter, Al is going to go back to adding in the rev limit raise to all the IX flashes (and raising those who weren't already raised).

jasonc32amg-I'll probably be going, but not running. No reason to keep running it until I can figure out a few things. I am pretty sure the rev limit is raised to 7800. I can easily check and Al said he did. I will see tomorrow.

Cool, I'm closing shop early tommorow and may swing by on my way down and get a baseline while I'm stock.

Most-Wanted, go read your thread in the Dynoflash forum - Al's last comment. Your rev limiter is still stock for now...

OK, I guess it isn't. Damn him And to think it would've run 11's brings tears to my eyes. No problems, it will give me something to look forward to. I am going to pick up the disc on Sunday with the runs on it. The guy said you can clearly hear the rev limiter at the end of the pass. Can't wait to see the vid.

Guys - first - big Props to Most Wantred amazing times

Secondly - he has a base BR350 tune with no modifications

sadly the BR350 has stock rev limit - my error as the BR cars come with warranty

I would like to point out how well the car is running with these simple parts and my reflash for the IX

Its really an amazing car and many will be in the 11's in short order !

Hey Al since you have hit 138mph in the 1/4th when did you shift to 5th gear in that run or are you just reving to 9k? Im curious to see when 4th gear runs out on the 03-05 cars.

I don't believe any of the big-time shop cars ever shift to 5th...

So is having a 2003 Evo Transmission a Benefit to Drag Racing?
