Well just for a note, my first run was 13.4, second 12.8, third 12.6 and final 12.3, and I improved 60 every time. So we will see what happens. I will be happy with a 12.0 though
That was a ***** getting that un-hooked but hopefully it helps you on the strip. Lets pray that we don't have the same night that the RX8 dude had. That was horrible and ruined our night.
Warrtalon, So on my 04 I can un-hook the launch control like on the '05's? Or is it a pill in the clutch line. I am a little confused by your earlier comment. Please free to flame away at the newbie question.

Nate, you don't have any launch control.
The clutch restrictor is something completely different that Mitsu put in there to keep us from being able to shift fast. It delays the clutch response when pressing the clutch and then letting it engage.

Although, I have been able to cut some pretty good 60fts with it in there. The two best were done at the 1/8th mile in my sig. Of course when it didn't count like at the 1/4 mile strip.
However, 05WhiteEVO8 and I are heading back to Montgomery tomorrow for another go around to see if there is any room for improvement for either of us.
Thanks for all of your advice! I have taken note and plan on using it at the strip. We will fill you guys in. Hopefully we will have some great stuff to share.

So let me get this straight.....the restrictor pill slows clutch response in between shifts. Why would Mitsu do that? Would that prevent synchro damage?
How do you remove the pill, exactly?
