2.3 stroker Rev

I have AMS (chicago) kit, currently on Stock HEAD with hks 264/272 and intake manifold.

Currently, Rev limit @ 7,300 but i want to push to 8k. rpm

your thoughts?

i have some cheap beehive valve springs and rev mine to 8500.

i didnt think it was safe to rev the stroker kit past 7,500. I know the 2.3RR motor says you can but not just the kit

I rev mine just past 8000...

As long as you got some decent ARP L19's holding the bottom end together it shouldnt be a problem...

Well i have the ams 2.3L with the upgraded oliver rods, and the kit comes with ARP main studs, says the recommended max engine speed is 7800 (endurance), 8200 drag. Should i be fine with the ARP Main studs to exceed that RPM Limit?

The L19's don't hold the bottom end together. They hold it against the head really tight. They are headstuds, not rod bolts or main studs.

I wouldnt rev it past 8k, you got a stroker so you wouldnt need to rev out as high. You probably spent a lot of money on those parts, don't bust them up revving too high.

yea thats what i figured but they were saying its okay too. so i was curious on if it was possible, i dont mind the lower rpm's with the 2.3L

My turbo start spooling around 4k at times i would rev up towards limiter
