Ecuflash 05-07 big map rev limiter

Hey guys i finaly got ecuflash to work and flashed the 05-07 big map rom.....now im wondering how the rev limiter works...there's rev limiter.stationnary rev limit and rev limiter 2. i was wondering if you can change the rev limiter with no load applied like in P or N to change the cutoff rpm?

Will that change it only when im in P or N or when im driving too? because it seemed to change the rev limiter in any circumstances not only in P and N!!!

They effect the rev limit in ALL circumstances but BOTH must be changed.

The first rev limit is a fuel cut a hard stop so the motor physically will not reach the rpm limit. The second is a timing reduction or soft cut so the car will lose power and be unable to climb further thus both must be changed.

Aight thanks! is there a way in your Big map to change the fuel cutoff only in N or P to start spooling the turbo when you're at the track?

No unfortunately that kind of tuning wasn't thought about for auto's. A safer bet if you plan on doing serious drag racing would be a higher stall torque converter and a transbrake so it wouldn't need the settings.
