Stock Clutch/Rev Limiter 60 ft Times
I am curious what people who are on the stock clutch utilizing the stock rev limiter to launch with are cutting at the track. I am going back tomorrow and am hoping to get into the 11's. My personal best is 1.822. I am curious if anyone has better times. Thanks

On the stock clutch with the limiter disconnected, I ran a best of 1.71, but I was usually in the 1.73-1.75 range. That was with regular daily driven tire pressure in the mid-to-low 30s. With the ACT, I cut 1.66-1.69s with 22-24psi and the limiter disconnected. Next time I go, I'll be using the 6k launch control with 255/40R17 Falken Azeni RT615 with pressures in the low 20s and much more power than before.

KMCconn, I have been to Mason Dixon a lot. That's where I ran when stock (13.1@104 1.92 60') back when I didn't know what the hell the 5k limiter was. I later ran my first ever 12.2 (12.22@110.7) when still on the cat-back with just an mbc and safc. I didn't ever go back when I had all my 12.0-level mods, though.

clay , danny whats up wondering what i ,d run with my BR 350 IX #005. dave says with good driving 12.5 12.6 at 110 but sounds like with those trap speeds it should go a little quicker. i know its impossible to give me an accurate time obviously but with a good light, shifting and hopefully with a descent 60ft. on the stock cluth, ( i just ordered a steel line to get rid of the restrictor pill) what do you think? by the way the first time i ran my 03 it was with the stock cluth an ran a 1.8 60

A few things:
1) I don't really know how much power you're putting down, but the IX 350 is pretty stout, so I wouldn't be surprised if you trapped 110.
2) If you trap 110, 12.5-12.6 is pretty normal for a 1.8 60'. I nailed a 12.26 with a 110mph trap, but that's not normal. Dave probably gave you that estimation based off how the average person drives, so he left you room for improvement. You can get a 12.3-12.4 with a good launch.
3) The SS line doesn't have anything to do with the restrictor. The restrictor valve is INSIDE the slave cylinder. It is a good idea to switch to a SS clutch line, but the restrictor removal will be separate, although you will do both at the same time. I just didn't want you to think the restrictor was in the stock clutch line.
