Well, you're just hurting your times, Danny. You need to shift before 7000 rpm in 1st. It takes a while to get to 7800 in 1st and the boost falls off completely, if you launch hard that is.

7300 is too high in other gear unless you have cams.

 

was your flash done on a dyno?? if so just look at your dynosheet and where your hp is about to drop is the time to shift...
