This run was done last friday and I was not really prepared. I might go back this Friday so I need some coaching.
Car is IX MR with full tank of gas and no weight reduction. Tires pressure i 36f 33r. All runs was done with normal/full lift shift.
1st run - shifting at 6500rpm.
2nd run - shifting on 7000rpm except for 1st gear. I had to shift early, the car went sideways because my tires were wet - they probably thought the car is FWD.
3rd run - had to back out of 1st gear because of slight wheel hop, shifting at 7500rpm.
What rpm do you guy shift when drag racing?

No timeslips.
You need to shift at 7000rpm and should expect a 12.9-13.1 in stock form, and low 12s with Warrtalon Stg 1 equivalent mods.
Don't go with a full tank - that's senseless. Remove your spare, jack, and tools.

WHEN IM RUNNIG THE CAR I SHIFT 1ST TO 2ND OFF THE LIMITER BECAUSE IT GETS THERE IN A BLINK OF AN EYE, AFTER THAT I SHIFT AT AROUND 7300. AT THAT RPM IT STILL FEELS LIKE ITS MAKING POWER. BR350 ix #005
