Definitely looking forward to seeing what your setup does with a 5spd vs 6spd. I really would have liked to have only been rowing through four gears yesterday.

It was 111mph so I gained about 100hp with the upgrades. I think it is probably a little more than that as fifth gear scrubs a little speed and ET.

What else have you add to go from 12.0(last time) to low 11's. The last couple of weeks have been great for the Evo MR's, PDT did 11.2, another guy did 10.7 and now you did 11.4..

Thanks!!

Carlos
Was that 10.7 with a 20G or a bigger turbo?

It is probably hardest on the clutch, but yeah it is not real nice to the tranny, transfer case, or axles either. Right now my tires are not sticky enough so they are the fuse in my drivetrain. I did not have any wheelhop which helps alot. Wheelhop is bad and equates to broken driveline parts. The Buschur motor mounts help alot. Powershifting is also hard on the tranny, clutch, and drive line parts. The Exedy clutch has been of great help.

As for the engine, it is not any harder on it then taking it up to the redline. The rev limiter is set so that it keeps it from over reving (never went above 7800).

I ran an 11.635 @ 108.21

Then again my IC pipe blew off in the middle of 4th.

Trevors car is an animal. He had a better ET than I did with my 35r @ 27ish psi of boost. Once he gets the launch down (Or better tires) I think it will run an 11.2 or so at 123ish on the same setup.

THANK YOU TREVOR!!!!!! Thanks for buying our parts, thanks for supporting us and mostly thanks for being able to drive and deliver some times.

Somethings I want to be sure to point out. This EVO MR that Trevor owns is not a gutted lightened EVO. This car is absolutely beautifully maintained and is full weight other than the weight he has lost from buying BR parts and the front bumper support is gone.

121 mph trap speeds puts this car, which is much heavier than my RS, right where I was last year.

With some better 60' times (I could see it spinning pretty hard in 1st gear on the video) I'd expect to see the car running 11.2-11.3 times.

I forgot about the need to shift to 5th gear with the MR. That extra gear change sucks but not as badly as moving it into a different ratio.

Thank you again and congrats on the new times!!!
