Not trying to rain on anyone's parade here, but haven't several close to full weight stock turbo 03 Evos ran 11.4-11.5 or better? I remember a guy with a blue one running 11.4 with a stock turbo and AEM EMS a few years ago at Etown.

With a decent 60', the car will definitely get quicker. The other key part here is the conservative tune of mid 11's AFR's. This is a tune I could pull of the strip with and hit the road course for half an hour. I would guess that the car you saw was running leaner AFR's and was cutting much better 60 ft times.

Here is a post regarding stock turbo MPH.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=177724

It has been around on the boards for awhile and the fastest stock turbo car so far is 119.6MPH. So, the first time out with plenty of room to spare in the tune and a little room to turn up the boost, the car ran 1.4mph faster than the fastest MPH posted to date.

I'm happy with the MPH and the time considering the tracks condition

Thank you David!!!

Didn't Curt Brown trap at over 123 with a stock 10.5 hotside turbo? According to
this thread, this guy trapped at 123 with the stock turbo as well. There could be others that I'm leaving out.

That mph is nice, remember he must shift to 5th, that kills it, with a 5-speed the same car would go .2 and 2mph quicker. Good job.

Yeah, that is definitely good to know. I'm curious as to what the 1/8 MPH was for those cars. Thanks for adding the information. I certainly did not want to leave anyone out.

Time slips have been added to my first post. I also realized my 2 step was actually at only 4500 RPM and I was still breaking loose pretty bad. The car has a lot of torque down low!

David recommended it. I don't think it was required but I'm sure it is helping

Was anything changed between the 118 trap run and the 121?

I changed the shift points some. I tried short shifting when going to fifth. I think I'm best off running fourth gear as long as I can before shifting. The 60' also seems to be a bit slower based on the 330' and 1/8th. The timer wasn't working for the 60's so I can't say for sure.

7.000@101.84, all my runs 11.2 and under netted 100+ in the 1/8th. Rember it's a five speed though.

you are looking at the extreme end of the spectrum. Since we have so little data on the 20g-9, it doesn't have an extreme to compare to yet. You need to look at the averages that stock turbos are running instead. When taking that into consideration, even 119 is above average for a stocker.
