Buschur 20G-9....11 second passes (vids)

All I can say is WOW! The Buschur 20G-9 pulls hard

Today is the first day I wished I had a five speed for the afternoon. It sure is a challenge to get through five gears. Power shifting fifth took a little practice but the Exedy Twin Disc really is amazing.

Here is the best run...
11.4@121mph

The 60' was not very great with a 1.75. I had the stutter set at 4600 due to traction problems.

Here is my second best run...
11.5@118mph

Not sure on the 60' on this one because the timer wasn't working but I did break loose.

The weather was cold (46F), cross wind, and 63% humidity. Things should only get better as the weather improves

EDIT: Time slips added. I was a little off on the 1/8th mile. It was 97.4MPH in the 1/8th!!! which really shows how much fifth is hurting me. In my Eclipse GSX, I was only trapping 93.67 and hitting 122MPH with the 4spd and different gearing.

11.4@121MPH Time Slip

11.5@118MPH Time Slip

Trevor,

Excellent!! way to go. What specific turbo was that? Ti? 5 blades? I have been following your progress since the day you used the Buschur $5 chip.

What else have you add to go from 12.0(last time) to low 11's. The last couple of weeks have been great for the Evo MR's, PDT did 11.2, another guy did 10.7 and now you did 11.4..

Thanks!!

Carlos

Hey Carlos,

Here is a link to all my current mods. Everything that I had last year was replaced with what is in the link except for the Exedy Twin Disc.

It is great to see more MR's going faster.

The turbo is the 20G-9 5 blade. No ti and has a ported/coated 10.5 hotside.

I should mention that David made this tune very conservative per my request. AFR in the mid 11's aggresively pulling timing and adding fuel with any knock over 2 volts.

Since were headed into the warmer seasons isn't the weather going to get worse?

I would rather have temps in the 60's with much less humidity. We still have a month or two of what I would consider ideal racing conditions. Sun would be nice so tires hook up better. Traction compound isn't the most effective when temps are in the mid 40's. Today was cloudy, cold, damp and windy.

Thats true. In Cleveland it's always really humid so right now are the best conditions for us.

Yeah the lakes probably don't help to much with where you are at. The fall is better than the spring here too IMO.
