hit the local drag strip on sunday. place was jammed so i only got 3 runs in. fist pass was the best. 110 oct 27 psi. 11.89 @ 119.01 granny shifting the whole way. car is at the mechanics getting the TRE built trans in now. next track day im hoping to get 11.5 at over 120.

It seems a little slow for 27psi personally. Perhaps it is the shifting though as you said. Shifting will make the MPH better as well as the ET obviously.

My pos ran an 11.4 @ 126 at 26-27 psi last time at the track granny shifting (Otherwise it would lock me out of gears). My car might be slightly lighter but couldnt be by much. What are you using to tune it? I would also check for boost leaks.. something is holding that car back alot.

 

hhmmmmm.............i thought i saw a guy in an evo 9 run an 11.6 the other day.

ya, im a little down about the times at 27 psi also. im running just a custom flash from Al. i know allot of it is the shifting. i also get lock out from the 1-2 and the 3-4 if i try to shift fast. I know for sure im loosing at least .4-.5 in the 1/4 due to this. so if you account for that my times should be on parr with the rest of you gt35r guys. my afrs are about 11.0-11.2 at wot. i cant launch this big turbo to save my life. on the 11.8 run my 60' was 1.71. granny shift 1-2 only netted me a 7.6 @88.9. i picked up 31 mph in back half though. it is what it is, im sure it will all come together soon. btw, just checked for boost leaks. all is good on that end. ill be going back on the 29th of this month with the new trans and ill update ya'll then.
