How amazing is it, though, that he traps 107+ with just a cat-back that really doesn't help anyway on an otherwise stock IX, poor driving, and extra weight while I sometimes only trap 107.xx with all my mods, 26psi, cams and alky, haha. IXs at sea level > Warr.

your car is very strong to trap at 107 with cat-back now you need to drive it better! no one should expect a 12.3@ 107 like war said, but at 107 you should expect to see mid-high 12's all day. you got a time slip? i bet your 60 foot was 1.8 or so, and you didnt shift that fast?
yea i shifted fast, and as it said in the begining i had a 1.888 on my best 60ft and 1.9 the rest. With a 1.75 should i see 12.5 ish? that sounds a little crazy with only a tenth better 60ft. and i ran 13.0 3 times in a row so i figured my car couldnt do that much better, maybe a 12.8 12.9 with that 1.75 60 ft. Thanks for all the compliments tho!
Actually, you may have thought you shifted fast, but your timeslip indicates otherwise. Even with a 1.8-1.9 60', you would have been in the 12s with such a high trap speed if you were shifting fast. I again reference my 12.30 @ 107.99 from yesterday. That's a 1.72 60', but extremely fast shifting. Don't try to get 12.30, but you should definitely try for 12.8, even on an average 60' in the 1.8s.
Rich_1, the MR only weighs 70lbs more than an RS, which roughly equates to .07s in the 1/4-mile. Proplery driven, a IX RS can run 12.7 stock in good conditions.

Besides the obvious answer to "what is extremely fast shifting" how can i drive "better". Should i just slam the gears real fast, and shift at redline? Is not letting off the gas a good thing to do while shifting? Give me details. I know im makin this really difficult, im just not an extremely good Track driver, ive only been about 5 times.
