well warr and i both keep our foot planted on the gas when we shift. he is on a 4 puk clutch which makes it easier to do cause its faster shifting clutch that will hold. he can elaborate on his shifting if he wants, he also has a video up in another thread as you can see he shifts fast

i am on the stock clutch and i shift full throttle also. i have had the best results shifting at 7,300 right before rev limiter. my rpms when full throttle shifting never hit rev limiter. so as you could imagine its pretty quick. i was able to run a 12.2@110 with a 1.7 60 foot, i need to disable the launch control to improve on the 60 foot.

Where are you going to run? Capitol or MIR? You should come to MIR Sunday for Test and Tune.

well the 60 time is what decides this whole thing your trap is good you just neet to improve your launch and net yourself a nice 1.7 60' and you'd have your 12

It's just the driving.

Why in the hell do you have a Greddy installed? You have an Evo IX that comes with the awesome JDM MR DV. Switching to a Greddy Type S is senseless...

Who knows - depends on how you have it setup. Just put on your damn stock BOV. It's a freakin awesome piece of machinery. Why throw on something just because you have it lying around? I hope you wouldn't slap on a 14b in place of your 16G just because it's lying around.

Some people need this treatment - pretty much anyone who takes a perfectly good part and replaces it with a less-than-perfect part for no reason then goes online after 2 unsuccessful trips to the track and asks everyone if it hurts the car.

Btw, I ran 12.58 on my 14b, so you need to get busy!!

wouldnt say unsuccessful because hell im pretty damn consisatnt with 4 - 13.0s in a row, and i also dont think i need this treatment i do know what im talkin about, im just askin for advice. im not daddy's little boy gettin a 35k car for my bday, i worked hard for this car and should not be flamed for asking a question. The reason the greddy BOV is on is cuz at one time i payed good moeny for it, second i dont want to void my warrenty, so i do like the "cool sound" it makes, if its gunna affect the car i will take it off. I just have the greddy on to do some kind of MODS while still keepin my warrenty.

Is that not reasonable?
