I went 13.03 at 107 mph with a 1.888 60ft. I only have a Apexi N1 catback. Other info track temp was 50 i had 1/2 tank of 93 oct and had 2 12 inch subs in the trunk. WHat ya think i can do to get a 12? Or is the 13 good?

To get 12s... Take out subs, spare tire & jack, floor mats, and crash beams.

 

So think its weight not driving? I went 13.03, 13.07, 13.09. At least im consistant

 

you don't even need to remove the subs. with that MPH all you need is a 'little' better driving and your there. Nice job.

i ran a 12.40@ 108. 107 is good for atleast 12.60 on a 1.75 60' time

 

Telling someone to practice driving is like telling them to pee in the morning. It's completely obvious and should be a natural assumption.

Weight savings is always a good option, and it's free.

Like Jeff said, considering I ran a 12.30@107.99 today, the only thing he needs for 12s is to learn to drive.

How amazing is it, though, that he traps 107+ with just a cat-back that really doesn't help anyway on an otherwise stock IX, poor driving, and extra weight while I sometimes only trap 107.xx with all my mods, 26psi, cams and alky, haha. IXs at sea level > Warr.

 

Damn, some of you guys are running some very respectable times.
