We haven't seen a case of any dealer finding one. It's not as easy as them hooking you up to a diagnostic tool and seeing it, and there are no external signs.
ok well thats great news for me if its true.... thanks for the help guess flash it is.. ... 12's here i come, even with my ****ty driving..

So all you MR owners are just riding out 4th gear I'm guessing...how high does that go anyway? Anyone have to go to 5th?

Heck no, I always go into fifth gear, I have tried to ride out fourth gear I end up hitting the rev limiter 7300rpm about 50 feet before the finish line. Its been like that at every track I have been to, I always go into fifth gear. I usually shift into fifth at about 6500-6700. Helps get my trap speeds up higher. You have to take advantage of that fifth gear, it pulls quite a bit harder then the fith gear in the five speed evo "with equal mods" The gearing just allows you to get to your power quicker.

Superscout, shifting to 5th only hurts you. That's probably why your ET is not as low for the mph. The stock rev limiter isn't until 7600, and with the flash it should be 7800 unless it wasn't changed. You'll save a lot of time staying in 4th until you get up around 117-118mph or so.

I dont remember what the rev limiter was actually set at, I just said 7300, all I know is that I can't ride out fourth gear in the 1/4, I HAVE to go into fifth. I have attemped to ride out fourth a few times and I hit the rev limiter each time, So now I always go into fifth. And my Evo wont hit 117-118 mph in 4th gear. And 115mph aint too shabby for an 11.93
Heck my 1/8 mph at 91.3 is pretty quick.

Your rev limit must not be raised or not raised enough.

Sounds about right for what you've explained so far. You need an 8k limiter now.

Kinda missed that shift, if i shift too fast the ACT gives me the finger ( lockout ) and i find myself taking it easy on my 1-2 shift and my 3-4 shift also, i tried adj, the clutch. I dont think im thats bad a driver, im pretty consistant on my 60 foots they usually right in the mid 1.7s but maybe im just reving to high. i shift @ or around 7 k. and i usually trap around 108- a high 109. any suggestions? im think shift points. maybe.

Warr Pm me if you got any suggestions for me, im running out of Ideas.

I had the same problem with my ACT. WHen I had to worry about that lockout, my shifts were much slower, and I'd lose .3-.4s alone from shifting - it sucked. After enough adjustment, though, it wasn't a problem.
