Whats wrong ?

Went to the track tonite and got only a 12.822 @106 mph an a 1.768 60 ft w/ little more than 1/2 tank of gas (maybe that was an issue ) and last month with a previous tune i had i did 12.964 @108.49 mph an a 1.967 60 ft w/ qtr tank of gas ! (mentioning gas just in case it's that much weight diff.)

better driver? there could be many variables. 1&2 I could tell from the shifting because it could vary minutely between gears and those minute tenths of seconds add up, also the wheels contribute some loss of acceleration depending on how much heavier they are than 21 pounds. Thirdly and lastly I can guess you have crappier tires than the advans? If so then I suggest stickier rubber or if you have the advans or greater than I suggest trying to reduce that 60ft time and gain some driving skills none the less good job gettin into the 12's.

These work wheels are lighter than stock but tires are kumhos an they prob. suck ,besides the lack of my driving skill, did the having more than 1/2 a tank of gas make that big of a differnce ? In other words judging by my mods an qtr mile times where should i be at with a good driver?

each gallon of fuel weighs around 6lbs soo. . . we have 14 gallons in a full tank which equals 84lbs. if you had 1/2 that then. . .42lbs would make a very little difference. Especially sinse its located near the rear. IMO tankfulls really don't matter. . . much. I'm talking like a tenth of a sec. difference if that.

I am not sure what you are expecting. Your car basically has a tbe and a tune and you ran 12.8. I find that pretty good. If your comparing the 2 runs: maybe the air was better the first time, maybe the gas was better, maybe you shifted better or maybe your new tune is not as good as the old one. Good luck

Whether the 12.8 is good or not, he lost about 2 mph after the tune

What did they do with the new tune? Retune it for the LICP Pipe? That will barely give you any power...your planning to do 12.5 with the new tune for the LICP?
