you were running 25lbs of boost. did u add racing fuel too? if i remember right u said u didn't. anyway, ric had a flash from al just for his tbe, k&n drop-in and mbc at 21lbs of boost.

since then, he added the injen intake and uicp package and still needs a flash for those mods. just so everyone understands what he's trying to explain. i thought u talked in circles alil bit too ric, but then again, i'm blonde........

Wait I'm confused, was that on straight pump 93 octane gas or was it mixed with race gas? And how much boost was this on?

your not serious, right? why can't people frickin read? i just said a few posts earlier, i thought it was on 93 octane but i was'nt sure of that, but, I know for a fact he ran this run at 25lbs of boost. oh, since u could'nt read my prior post, his car is an '06 evo 9 fyi.

mods are:

tbe
mbc
intake, uicp
dynoflash (NEEDS A REFLASH FOR INTAKE/UICP, meaning, he's only got a flash for his tbe,K&N drop-in and mbc@21lbs of boost RIGHT NOW)

whewwwwww, going to get a beer now......................

Dude ask anyone here. Again you are a newb! You dont know much about anything. A 3in tbe gives you around 30whp. This has also been a kniown fact in the evo world as well. Look at buschurracings dyno results its right on their website. So is ams. God you seriously need to go back to the newb section.

Okay I am a Newbe. So if I put an exhaust on a IX w/o any tuning I will get 30 whp. LOL! You are Special. Care to bet me on your revelations. Back in the day I believe they claimed the intake made 10-15 whp. However, some have discovered a properly tuned Evo with and w/o an intake make commensurate power.

Ok I think we all can agree that a stock evo 8 dynos around 240 whp depending on the dyno of course. Well the buschur stage 1 upgrade package which is only a full 3in tbe, flash, and air filter made over 315whp and 311# of tq. Gee do I need to show where the newb section is too?

Here is a link for you and this was on basically stock boost with pump gas as you can see

http://www.buschurracing.com/stage1.htm

Care to pay me now amigo?

Also who claimed? And what intake? I love how you try and dodge the subject at hand by bringing up nonchalant stuff.

alright... to end confusion
RIC <--- thats me
use to have 03 evo... ran stock 13.7, added catback not TBE and intake ran 13.1
RIC<--- still me, doesnt believe that a catback will cut 6 tenths on its own, hence intake = gain

RIC<---- let you guys figure who it is, now has 06... went to track, ran 12.59 MODS- TBE, DROP IN, MBC, Tune

added to 06, not 03, Intake and UICP... no retune.... ran 12.39... only mod added was intake and UICP....

I hope to god this clears that part up....

Both times i ran racing fuel at about a 1 to 3 mix example 1 gallon of 114 to 3 gallons of 93
Both times running 25lbs of boost actually this time was spiking to 26 running 24/25 tapering to 23 by redline.

blonde or not, its easy to understand... and thank you fresh for trying to explain this also

Forgive Skilz he has a Visual processing disorder. I read what u said and 30 whp with a catback or Turboback for that matter is very optimistic. He forgets that tuning and boost modulation are also needed to make an exhaust capable of extracting extra power. The question is, how much power did the exhaust add relative to the tune and increase in boost? Skilz claims 30 whp from a catted turboback although u stated u had a catback. I believe downpipe/and catless are needed to make his claim true. But i am new to the Evo and big turbo applications so what do i Know.

I think you are the one with the visual impediment. I said very clearly you gain around 30whp with a 3in tbe not a catback. It may be optimistic that you can learn facts instead of idiocy. The tune is around 20-30whp and the intake maybe 5whp.

I wasnt referring to him I was just making that statement in general. Then you as always dont know anything about evos and you of course insert your own foot in your mouth. Once again I prove you wrong and you still try and change the subject.

Btw, the widespread fact that a 3in tbe gives you around 30whp is all over evom. Its funny how your experience has missed that fact too. Gee I wish warr was hear to see your lunacy.
