the evo ix outlet pipe does not fit... i have one... and so does he, it didnt fit for shyte... at least not with the buschur intercooler unless you did something different or you have the standard intercooler which has the endtank points where they normally are.

I was talking about using an Evo 9 based turbo on an Evo 8 with a stock FMIC or one that uses the stock configuration piping. The outlet of the black pipe is the same on both cars. So the stock IC piping after the black pipe to the stock intercooler is the same on an Evo 8 and Evo 9. If you have the buscher FMIC, then you have to run that odd pipe that comes with it so you can line up with the inlet to the BR FMIC. I dont know of a clean/easy way to do that. I guess Matt found a way.

somewhat, i think it involves a lot of cutting... he is running a stock ix turbo now and has the ix turbo outlet pipe... but what happens with the buschur front mount it doesnt come alligned so you have to do some modding or get the pipe from them

good point! he owes me $40 for the new dremel i had to buy! fckr.......anyway, the buschur licp that comes with the evo8 deluxe fmic just has to be cut about 4-6inches and it lines up very well. u have to cut/grind a slight angle at the cut but not to much. i need to take it back out and have a ridge welded on the pipe so theres no leaks at the clamp/hose. i was thinking JB weld but i dont want to have it sloppy on there.
