Track night tonight results...
Went to the track finally since installing my intake. I still havent gotten a tune since adding it but i wanted to run anyway. my previous best time was a 12.59.
60 ft 1.75
1/8 et 7.98
1/8 mph 86.94
1/4 et 12.39
1/4 mph 113.04
finally got my 60 ft lower... although my clutch is going to need to be replaced soon... wasnt too happy. tried the 2 step on the stock clutch, not so good. i should have known better, or rather i did know better, just wanted to try it.
overall great track night, little hot at first, best time 12.7, cooled off by 830 and the lower 12's came... a few 12.5's a 12.40 and this being my best slip i posted.

hence the tune ... and im pretty sure you can give that 2 tenths off to my intake... if you run and you max your time at 12.5, you add a mod, and you go faster... that is usually what it is...
MODS: TBE, MBC, INTAKE, UICP

Wow that is a great trap speed for not being tune, one of the highest I've seen. Was this straight pump gas or a mix, whichever it is, your E.T. and trap are still very impressive.

warr, i have had a base flash done a few months back when al was in sc... but it wasnt with the intake or UICP. I do realize when it gets cooler you tend to run better... and when you run a better 60 ft, your time ends up being better... but my 12.5 before, the conditions were no different then now... the track was still warm that day also. in my 03 evo my best time stock i cut was a 13.7, added intake and catback and cutdown to 13.1 and that was with no tune at all. intakes can and do make a difference... a better difference when tuned though.... and it was on about 3 gallons of 114 mixed in with about 5 gallons of 93 or so. ... i like the trap speed, my 60 wasnt bad and i didnt think i was shifting bad... maybe a little slow, i'll have to work on that fresh loser lol... anyways thanks for the comments guys... i have a buschur front mount coming, going to a 3" DP, ebay O2, wideband O2, EXEDY HD TWIN, still need to install my fuel pump. Warr, im sure you have an idea... how much HP increase do you think a ported and polished Manifold would give.... would you have one you'd recommend that i dont have to mail in my stocker for that is pretty affordable and will bolt up to the stock turbo since later on down the road if i decide to get the 20G i can still use it ?

no, in my 03 i ran stock then added just the catback and intake... i dont think that accounts for 6 tenths on its own as far as the intake goes...
