Did my TBE make me slower?
Ok, so in actuality, your worrying was all misplaced. You went faster and quicker with the TBE despite the same 60', and it was likely much hotter this time. You didn't tell us when the last runs were or what the conditions were, and you cut off that data in the slips.
So, you improved with the TBE...why did you think you lost power? Your car is not falling on its face if you pick up 24mph in the back 1/8th. I only pick up 22 with cams and alky.
Yes, this is nothing new with the IX ECU. It detunes itself by lowering boost when it detects extra airflow. People don't make much power on IXs with TBEs unless they use an MBC to keep the boost up or get a flash to do the same...

Car seemed to have gotten slightly faster with the TBE alone and it will become even faster once you get a custom flash later on.
I guess i was just a slight bit dissappointed with the performance gains thats all, wasnt expecting on the ECU to hold me back.. Well i hope that once i get it tuned it becomes a real monster... Does it make a difference that i dont have the upper/lower IC pipe kits yet? will my tune be off for later when i add them? and would you suggest going with the BR intake before i get it tuned or just keep my stock air box with my BMC drop in filter? Thanks
And a few quick questions regarding a tune..
1)will i need a MBC on site to have it tuned? or can i add it later.
2)Should i bring my sunoco 110 race gas when i go?
3)Will i need a tactrix cable on site and a laptop or can it be tuned and when i get home just download the ecuflash software and update it?
4)finally can i modifiy it slightly to run compatible with the lower and upper intercooler pipes that i havent purchased yet?

No, has nothing to do with IC pipes. Those aren't useful anyway - only the LICP gives gains, but that's mostly spool, which won't make a difference on the drag strip. There's no reason to worry about IC pipes now or later. No, I don't suggest an intake.
If you're getting custom tuned, of course you need the MBC. It would make no sense to get custom tuned then add mods, especially an MBC, since you need your boost dialed in exactly where it should be DURING the custom tune.
Bring race gas if you are using EcuFlash and plan to have multiple maps made. If not, then you can't do anything with the race gas, because you can only have one map.
You won't need the cable or laptop during the tune to get multiple maps, because Al can email them to you later, but if you have the cable and laptop with EcuFlash loaded and working, then you can download the maps right when he finishes making them instead of waiting.
Good God, stop asking about IC pipes - lord have mercy...

Yes, you can can gain more power with just a TBE/MBC than with just a TBE by itself, because it allows you to keep the boost up where it needs to be (22-23psi on 93oct for a IX). However, it would be extremely foolish to do those without a flash, because a flash is better than both of them, makes more power than those combined, and costs way less than an exhaust. If you're worried about your warranty or the flash being detectable, then why would you even consider a TBE or MBC? Those are visible, the exhaust is loud, it's illegal, it gets you tickets, and it costs a lot more. Mitsu will see that far before they'd even have a clue you're flashed. Technically, the flash is detectable using their special tool to see if anything has been changed, but I have yet to hear of a dealer doing that and finding a flash. No one has come on here and said that their flash got detected and warranty voided. On top of that, if you really wanted to, you could flash yourself back to stock using EcuFlash, which is free software. Then, you could flash right back to your Dynoflash tune after going to the dealer...absolutely NO REASON not to get a flash.
