Shift at 7200rpm and make sure you shift like lightning.Or powershift(Shift at WOT) if you are know how to do.

 

your '60ft is definately holding you back( 2 step @6k) and most likely your shifting too. shift at 6900-7k and WOT shifting doesn't hurt. i usually only WOT from 3-4th and its always smooth. practice, practice, practice. you'll be fine.
