You're almost there, but I really think you should chill out on the boost. I don't know what gives people this idea that running 31-32psi or whatever is a good thing. You only see that boost at the peak boost area, which is 3500rpm or so, and on the drag strip you're never below 5500rpm, which is 2000rpm of boost taper later. You just end up blowing lots of hot air in what is already a hot climate. Great, reliable top-end, knock-free power can be made with 25-26psi (peak). I think you already saw this, but maybe you should stick with normal boost levels that are more safe and reliable.

i have tried to do this by turning the avcr down but it still always spikes the 31. usually its 2nd gear only and then comes down to 1.8 to 1.9 in the rest of top end

Something's wrong with the setup then, because that's not normal. MBCs are much easier to deal with, so see how that works out for ya.

I actually agree with what you just said. With good tuning on pump gas in 90* weather with 100% humidity I'm able to trap 86 in the 1/8th and 110 on the top end with only a 24psi spike tapering to 20.5psi by redline.

Mike, you are getting very close to the 11's, I strongly believe it is the matter of time before youhit the 11's. The temps has drop 20 degrees in the last 2 weeks, now we are seeing high 60s at night.

We already know that your launches are excellent, you are capable of pulling low 1.7s to mid 1.6s with that triple clutch.

Keep up the good work, you are running very consistently lately, there are only a hand full of real dedicated good drivers around and you are one of them.

Good luck

Carlos
