Well the track here was running one of its last timed events of the year on Friday. I was trying to set a new personal best but I didnt have a good night. On two of the runs the car was sputtering real bad over 6500rpm's. It was so cold out traction was non-existant, low 40's. Best run was a 11.75@118 with a 1.75 60' spinning into second. Heres a video of that run.

On my last pass I noticed a coolant smell and liquid on my window. I pulled into the staging area and there was coolant sprayed everywhere. I thought the worst but it turns out that the coolant line that goes to the turbo somehow got a slit in it. It could have been much worse.

Well the video was kinda rough, but it looked like a pretty good pass. What were you leaving at, shifting at, etc.? I think I almost heard a bog at the line, do you have the stats off your slip handy? Also were you at BOTI with Jake?

 

Yeah the video works better if you open it with Windows Media Player.

I am launching off the 2-step at 5800. I shift at 7300-7400 and Im not sure what you heard but it wasnt a bog on my part, maybe the car I was racing. Its hard to bog when you cant hook up

To me that was a hell of a pass, maybe a little more traction and you will improve. 10.5 or 9.8

 

It was with a 10.5. A Shep t-case w/lsd and some MR BBS Rims with better tires are on the wish list for this winter.
