Friday Night Track Day...

So it's my 2nd time to the track with the evo and I'm still having bad 2nd and 3rd gear synchro problems, ran 35 psi on all winter tires(ya i know... i bought it used with em), on pump gas @ 22 psi, but heres what I ran...

1st run:
R/T - .638
60' - 1.820
330 - 5.328
1/8 - 8.285
MPH - 86.16
1000 - 10.871
1/4 - 12.998
MPH - 105.98

2nd run:
R/T - .657
60' - 1.746
330 - 5.300
1/8 - 8.278
MPH - 84.71
1000 - 10.856
1/4 - 12.984
MPH - 106.46

3rd run: (slow shift from 1-2)
R/T - .506
60' - 1.779
330 - 5.332
1/8 - 8.296
MPH - 85.86
1000 - 10.892
1/4 - 13.033
MPH - 105.60

I'm pretty satisfied with my 60' time on the 2nd run and I think I pretty much have my launches down. But for the mods I have... AMS TBE w/ Test Pipe, MBC, Drop in filter, fuel pump, tuned @ 22 psi, and dyno'd at 300hp/292 tq on a Dynojet, I think it was decent, just need more practice on shifting mainly(or redo the synchros) and I think I'll be good to go.

Also can anyone quote me on a price that they had to pay for when they had to - PAY - to get their synchros replaced? A good shop near me is telling me to just go ahead and rebuild the tranny from sheppard and it'll be the best way to spend the money in the long run, but I have no clue on how much synchro's being replaced would cost. Thanks again

I launched at 6100, there was a good amount of wheelspin but it still pulled nicely .

All-seasons are better than Advans for launching anyway and winter tires are about the same depending on what they are, so that's no detriment. I'm not sure what All-Winter tires are, though. Did you mean all-seasons or winter tires? The only detriment is leaving them at 35psi instead of actually taking the time to lower the pressure according to the amount of wheelspin.

I meant it as in all of them were winter tires. But if they run fine then I'm not surprised, the 60's seem pretty good then . I ran the tire pressure at 25 psi the first time I went and was not happy with the times that I was pulling. Plus I didnt wanna goto pump the air up after racing so I decided to just keep it the way it was.
