I was wondering who has ran 11s on pump with a IX? I have a friend that will be going to the track tonight and he thinks he will be able to do 11s on pump.. His mods are catless tbe, mbc, fmic w/ licp, Injen intake with uicp, Act/flywheel, bov, reflash..

 

Several have done it and with less mods than that - it's no big deal.

 

And this is on pump correct?

 

Yes. Many more have done it on race gas - it's a breeze.

 

I did it with less mods so it is def. possible. Got a video floating around here somewhere.

NIce meeting you tonight....your car is badass bro. I hope to meet up again at the track. After you left I got tow runs....12.8 @ 108 mph with a 1.822 60ft.

Then I matched up against a GTO and I ran a 13.007 with a 2.0 60ft at 107 mph..... I suck. I can't wait to get my new cams and Alky kit in February. I honestly feel I'd get better performance with stock cams than these 269's that in are my car now. The GTO ran a 13.260 @ 110-mph with a 2.4 60ft.

 

very easily to do this on pump. Hell I ran 7.6 on my pump map with a purposely bogged launch(didnt want to ruin drivetrain) with a 60ft of 2.8 and still trapped at 100mph in the 1/8. So definitely easy to do 11's on pump on a 9.

 

I know this is a little late but the bf's car has an exhaust, ecu flash, intake, and I think fmic piping and he's ran as low as 11.8's on good ole supreme. Mine does 11's as well on pump gas, but I cheat cough* methanol cough*.

 

I think he means with stock turbo. You don't have 575whp on stock turbo.

yeah I run 7.8's at 93 mph with a nasty 60 around 1.7

 

Pump, mods isn't the issue, it's the driver. If he launches properly (1.6 or 1.7s) and shifts like a bandit, no problem. The car can do 11's with those mods and pump gas... Can the driver ?
