I wanted to see what some of guys have put down with the EVO IX trubo cars out there, meaning if it is on an EVO VIII with and EVO IX turbo post . I know there are a million factors, Pump Gas, Alky, Race Gas, Driver, Track, Mods, weight of car.. Blah Blah Blah..

But I just wanted to see a list of Mods plus Dyno and/or Track times. Boost levels and try to keep it honest

Hes look to see how much of a gain there is between the IX turbo and the VIII turbo on an VIII.

Sorta.. Just wanted to see how much power the EVO IX turbo(not necessarily the car) could do on the dyno and at the track. I know the EVO IX has a better cylinder head, different cams, different Turbo, blah blah .
But even if you put an EVO IX turbo on an EVO VIII.. I wanted to see what it could do at the track and/or on the dyno...

 

Then search - dynographs and track results have already been posted numerous times.

 

the guy i sold my ix turbo to thought it made a huge difference. with the eight turbo he ran a 12.7 @ 109 with a 1.7 60' and filter, exaust, and tune mustang dyno 104 302hp 299 tq

after only adding my ix turbo he ran 12.4 @ 113 with a 1.9 60' same dyno 310 hp 312 tq all same gas and same boost.

also to note this dyno is know for low numbers in the area. there was a porsche gt2 running 10.7 @ 137 only dyno at 499 hp 490 tq.

the guy that put my ix turbo on has very minamal mods to the point where the dealer warantied is clutch about a month ago.

Differences are minimal IMO if you look at maxxed out 9's vs 8's the numbers are very close if not driver determined. Both can hit 120mph maxxed out.

 

Made barely enough to make it up the hill 2 HP less i would roll down the hill in reverse.

 

I'd like to see some IX's on the Top 15 list this year. So far Danimal is on it with his and so is 4 wheel slide, and maxxamillion... Looks to be a good year for the IX, but the big dogs haven't been able to get any passes in yet lol.
