Daily Driver IX runs 11's
Its not that Etown is totally the best in your area, I misspoke. Its that drag racing in the NJ area is really fast compared to most places in the country. You guys are in a really cool (temperature) spot in the USA and you're at sea level!
Here, by the time the track opens in April, its 80% humidity, 85 degrees at least, and 750' elevation. It is better here than a lot of places, but sucks azz compared to Jersey. That was my only point.
Excellent track prep obviously isn't a big deal to an AWD street car, since you guys are still able to cut low 1.7s.

Etown isn't the fastest track around. We just have the best drivers!
Seriously though, their track prep is among the best around but there is a crosswind/headwind almost every time I run there.
Great job dudical26! I'll be there almost every weekend this year for testing.

either way it's def, faster than out here in vegas. There's guys that come out here from from cali and run anywhere from .2-.5 slower. LVMS is ranked as one of the slowest in the country. track prep here is hit or miss.

+1. Last track day I was pulling high 1.8's and 1.9's compared to my consistent 1.7 and 1.71's. And we're at 2400' elevation

Yea I am thinking about it, although for $1,000 I feel like I could find a better use of the money.
Also on a side note, I see you are in Toms River. Are there any fast evo's down there. I went down there with Mike1023 after we ran at E-Town. We went to the WaWa but there was nothing really fast out there.

one evo is soon2beEvo i think and liquidlancer
o cool, soon2beEvo is also stock turbo right. I did not know he was from around there. Sounds like we should set up a little stock turbo evo fun with him, me and Mike.
yea if my car is working properly, i put the tranny and tcase back in after the shep rebuild and now the ecu is all screwy...i mad a thread about it i the ecuflash forum...then i have some new goodies to install (coilovers, rims, tires, bushings, brake lines, some interior bits and a couple things to do in the engine bay)...if its running ill be definitely open to have some fun...
How hard was it to pull the tcase and tranny. I need to pull mine to fix a grinding 5th and to also swap in an evo8 4th gear. Figure I might as well do a clutch while I'm in there.
how do you have access to a lift.
You have done 7 wow, that is a lot. I may be pming you with some questions when it comes time for me to do the job. Unfortunately it will be done on jack stands in my garage.

I have a shop in peekskill, its where I do all the work on my car and customers...I have done mine several times + the customers and friends...we have everything at the the shop...
Maybe we could figure out some sorta deal. I could really use some help doing the swap but I don't wanna just bring it to any shop and have them do it. I would rather get my hands dirty so I can learn how it all works. How much do you usually get from friends if you do a swap for them?
