Its not that Etown is totally the best in your area, I misspoke. Its that drag racing in the NJ area is really fast compared to most places in the country. You guys are in a really cool (temperature) spot in the USA and you're at sea level!

Here, by the time the track opens in April, its 80% humidity, 85 degrees at least, and 750' elevation. It is better here than a lot of places, but sucks azz compared to Jersey. That was my only point.

Excellent track prep obviously isn't a big deal to an AWD street car, since you guys are still able to cut low 1.7s.

Seriously though, their track prep is among the best around but there is a crosswind/headwind almost every time I run there.

Great job dudical26! I'll be there almost every weekend this year for testing.

either way it's def, faster than out here in vegas. There's guys that come out here from from cali and run anywhere from .2-.5 slower. LVMS is ranked as one of the slowest in the country. track prep here is hit or miss.

+1. Last track day I was pulling high 1.8's and 1.9's compared to my consistent 1.7 and 1.71's. And we're at 2400' elevation

Yea I am thinking about it, although for $1,000 I feel like I could find a better use of the money.

Also on a side note, I see you are in Toms River. Are there any fast evo's down there. I went down there with Mike1023 after we ran at E-Town. We went to the WaWa but there was nothing really fast out there.

How hard was it to pull the tcase and tranny. I need to pull mine to fix a grinding 5th and to also swap in an evo8 4th gear. Figure I might as well do a clutch while I'm in there.

Maybe we could figure out some sorta deal. I could really use some help doing the swap but I don't wanna just bring it to any shop and have them do it. I would rather get my hands dirty so I can learn how it all works. How much do you usually get from friends if you do a swap for them?
