Daily Driver IX runs 11's
There is plenty of clearance near the oil pan and all that.
It is possible that maybe something else is making the noise, but it only happens like I said when the clutch pedal is pushed in. I don't really know what else would be making the noise.
Even though you did not have the problem with your clutch - that is not proof that this is not being cause by my clutch. Also you had Cusco this is Exedy
I only revved it to 8200 RPM last time before the new fourth gear. That was also only in 4th gear going through the traps. Now I shift at 7500 and run through the traps at around 7300
The only changes since last time I ran are
UICP
MAF Pipe
Evo 8 4th gear
Clutch
I would not expect these parts to really add all that much.
My Et went down by .15 and my MPH went up by .74MPH
The temps were about 35 degrees hotter this time around compared to last time.
My launch was also worse this time - I still need more practice with the new clutch
Considering everything, I am happy with the gain. Like I said with this same setup and only minor minor tweaking and a better launch I am confident that I can get into the 11.5's

but i know you i still think you have the meth on just for safty which is not doing anything.
Cusco is the same as the Exedy twin - I don't think its the same as the twin HD.
Goal I said is 11.59 with this setup. Once I get that I will set new goal, maybe add some cams and see how I can do.
And I promise there was no meth or water or anything that day. Ask Burt he was there - did not even have the pump in the car since I was testing it on the workbench.

i told him once i tell him again when he is home im more then whiling to help him out and get him into the low 11s and even if he wants 10s. with what is done to the car is far more then my had. and also he keeps it very anle clean and up to 100% working order. my car was not like his LOL which if i keep my to how clean and stright it is my would of went couple .01 faster.
wrong if you read back a while we know that his car is 150lb heavier then my. which is really not that much. when i was at track i had ~75lb added to car and then took it out and ran same time LOL. maybe .04 faster. which is not big at all. lol

I was replying to reggiesd's question. They typical VIII isnt going to run an 11.56, so dont jade him.
wait a sec now i think about it, his car is even lighter now since he did more things to it. his car really should be right next to my. i remember when we did some rolls he used to be right next to me. i would have no douth i can get into that car and get a better time then mine.

when i go to track and see how many evos launch and shift there evos. i kind of get sick to stomach and want to help every one to drive there car to how it should be.

so it is still a bit more then you, you were like what 29XX with you in the car. So I'm about 150 lbs more like you said before.
last time me and you were at track you were 150lb heavy, and since then you took out more weight.
I was 3100 with me in the car tank with 1 gallon.
Since then added meth kit + 15lbs
Suspension - 19lbs
Firewall Sound Deadening - 8lbs
Total - 11

3089 - me(140) = 2949 lbs
