Does the intercooler in his car make a difference, i have read numerous times one doesn't need it till 400whp, but he is making really good times with it. Can someone explain this?

There is no better motivation for loosing weight then to go faster.

I think the IC helps. You can read my review hereLINK

The stock one might be "good" up to a certain HP level, but that does not mean that an after market IC wont still help.

well as you know the race ic, you get pressure drop. which means your little stock turbo has to work even harder to make that 1-2psi.

the reason why i went with the race is i want to see just how far i can go with the stock turbo and push it. and also i take car on street and race around on track so didnt want to get heat sock which is the worst.

i really have a feeling if i have the stock ic and cool it down i think i can run same or better time with it. just because the turbo does not have to work so hard to fill all of it. but then you run into the problem that it will heat up faster. so its a win win. also the stock and or smaller ic are lighter, well a lot lighter, when i got the ic i almost didnt want to but in car since it was so dam heavy vs the stock one. LOL

i would like to do back to back dyno runs. with stock ic, race, and some others.
