Daily Driver IX runs 11's
My friend has the video on his camera, I am just waiting for him to import it.
I have the bullet Muffler.
I was not at street wars and my car is GG so I was not the silver car you saw. I went on friday night. I was going to go to street wars but after running this time I realized that it would not really be possible for me to go any faster with my current gearing. I tried shifting to fifth but kept getting locked out and as a result my fifth gear now grinds pretty bad. When I eventually pull my trans I will put in a new clutch and a 4th gear from an evo 8.
I want to keep my setup mostly the same and go back out with a taller 4th gear. With that alone I know I can trap around 119 - 120. When I do pulls on the street with 118-119 trap cars I am pretty much even.
On a side note, does anyone in the area have experience doing a clutch install or pulling a trans. Like everything else on my car I plan on rebuilding the trans myself and could always use some help from an experienced board member.

I always run faster at Atco then I do at E-town..And from what I have been told MIR is an even faster track..This being said from an ls1 fbody owner who runs within .x10 every time hundreds of passes..
EVOB23 - How fast can you trap in 4th gear?
My good friend Mike1023 traps at over 120 in 4th in his evo8. And he says he has a little room to go. Also he has slightly smaller tires than stock. With stock size tires and an evo8 4th gear I should have room to trap as high as 122 or so.
Mike and I tried to run each other on Friday night but unfortunately he red lighted when we lined up next to each other. That was the last run before they closed the track so we never got to go again.
Etown isn't the fastest track around. We just have the best drivers!
Seriously though, their track prep is among the best around but there is a crosswind/headwind almost every time I run there.
Great job dudical26! I'll be there almost every weekend this year for testing.
