My opinion is you have a boost leak and yes power shifting is ok. Please post all the data from your runs, so that people can help you out better.

You are powershifting and yet you are afraid to launch hard??? That's crazy my friend!

Your bov might be leaking! the VIII plastic bovs are not famous on keeping boost over 23psi! Whats your 330?

went back to the track with new intercooler and my best was a 13.214 at 99.4mph with a 1.85 60ft. My highest trap was a 13.298 at 103mph with 1.9 60.

what would these times be like with a 1.7 60.

You need to have the car inspected by someone who knows Evos. Have you installed fresh plugs, done a boost leak check, and a compression check?

You shouldn't have to ask if it could be your plugs. Just go and change them!

NGK BPR7ES or BPR8ES gapped to .026 or so. Start with 7s, and if those break up, then use 8s. These plugs only cost $1.50/ea, so you should always have plenty of spares ready. The fact you had to ask which plugs to get tells me you've never changed yours???

i put the bpr7es in and it ran fine then after driving a little my car started to fell like it was dying. I looked at a plug and it looked burnt. Should the bpr8es work. If not what other plugs will work

Yes, BPR8ES will work, but if your plugs burned up like that, you might have a coil pack or spark plug wire problem. What you described should NOT happen.

ill take pics of the spark plugs when i take them out. Hopefully theres not something else wrong. I seem to have nothing but problems with this car.

the plugs that were in before were ngk igr7a-g. Then i put the bpr7es gapped .026 and car ran fine for like 2 blocks then started dying and running like ****. Will the bpr8es work or do i need diff plugs cuz i dont wanna have to go back to the store for more plugs again if i dont have to
