i went to sac the other night and i got a best of a 12.8@105.4 on my last run. how did i do?

60: 1.787
330: 5.259
1/8 ET: 8.188
1/8 Trap: 83.704
1000: 10.712
1/4 ET: 12.854
1/4 Trap: 105.481

i know there is alot more power once i get it tuned, cuz my traps are very low

Get a tune for the cams so you can trap a lot closer to 112. Test pipe or HFC?

The car is just very weak, but the driving is good.

The tune won't matter unless the current tune is terrible. Cams make power even without a retune, so you can't expect to gain much with a retune. The retune is just for optimization of the cams at idle and WOT, but it won't be a big difference in power.

I had similar results last night. I wasn't too happy.

R/T: .771
60: 1.811
330: 5.390
1/8 ET: 8.351
1/8 Trap: 83.93
1000: 10.935
1/4 ET: 13.112
1/4 Trap: 103.90

I've got 03, 9.8hs, 93 pump gas, Stock clutch, 32k miles, stock 03 DV
272/272 cams, no cam gears, Dynoflash, TBE, and I only ran 19 psi.

I was thinking I may go with a custom Dyno tune now. But, if it isn't necessary, am I stuck with these type of times?

Well, why do you have 272 cams without having all the other stg1 mods? Your mod combo is not wise. You should have a fuel pump, mbc @ 22psi, bov, and probably a good clutch.

2 give u guys an example, i ran 12.72 @ 107.89 on a slipping clutch (it finally went) with no cams.

when u r ready to get those cars tuned, put some cam gears on b4hand.

the only mods i have are: walbro, 3"TBE, hallman MBC, turboXS RFL BOV, 10.5 hotside, 104octane Sunoco GT Plus, & ECUFlash test mule tune.

the cams will make addl power once tuned but gains will be low on pumpgas especially 91 since the ECU will retard timing. the most u might get on the cam gears is -1/-1 settings to prevent knock. it will feel stronger in the midrange. a buddy i have in AZ ran a 12.49 @ 113 on his '05 with the same mods i have above except he has a 9 turbo & hard pipe kit

It was great seeing all of the Evo's at Sac Raceway last Wednesday night. I'm really disappointed with my times. My best of the night was a 12.1@112mph with a 1.71 60ft. This was done with a drop in, mbc @ 24psi, l.i.c.p., o2, tbe, cosworth cams, fuel pump, 720 injectors and a tune that made 306whp/304wtq.

My previous best was 12.1@114.9mph with a 1.73 60ft and this was before cams, l.i.c.p., o2 and a new dyno tune. The d/a this night was -1000 and Wednesday night's d/a was near 0.

I blew a l.i.c.p. off a couple of weeks ago and ever since then my car has felt down on power. I need to get it back onto a dyno...

Oops, forgot to mention the Wally 255 lph, Forge BOV (recirc), HKS suction intake, DP, and TP. The tune is safe to 22 psi on 93, but I have the Greddy Profec B spec II EBC. Haven't messed with it too much yet. About the clutch, I plan on using the ACT HDSS with lightweight flywheel soon.
