I just picked up my falkens to replace my ate away stockers.

falkens are 255/40/17's

What will this change do to my trap speeds ? Slower?

 

youll lose some mph in 4th... its a slightly shorter tire...


when mine were completely bald i was bouncing the limiter at 8200 100-150 feet before crossing the line at 116 sucks

 

There will be no noticeable difference.

 

it seems like I lost mph since my custom tune and tires, but i may have been short shifting, I will post the sheet and the video soon.

I only got one run after my tune and tires. It got really crowded so I rolled. I need to get out there when I have more time to make passes.

I might have a boost leak, I know i'm not holding boost well (lots of taper) but I think its my sucky ebay mbc

Yeesh, MBCs are not expensive. Why would you use an Ebay MBC? Ick.

 

don't know.. my dsm liked a cheap mbc, so I just swapped it over. The evo, I don't think likes it. I'll post the datalog info soon.

So what are your thoughts. I can't really take apart time sheets like others ?

 

Yeah, it seems like you're down on power a bit after looking at your mods with an 06. Now, if you've got a boost leak or are seeing higher knock counts then that may explain the lower mph. And of course I'm just basing the power statement off of your mph.
