The 116 ft lbs of torque is HUGE. If you look at the time slips of both cars the segment times are going to be rediculously faster with Bobby's car.

A big turbo is not the solution to going fast in all cases. A bigger laggier turbo, like the 3076, take a hell of a driver to go fast. It is much easier to go fast with a small repsonsive turbo than a larger laggier turbo.

Something else to keep in mind, Bobby didn't get his nickname "dadriva" from being a slouch behind the wheel.

true warr. I actually made the 420 on BR dyno with my pump gas map but with the 104 just like i ran at the track @ 25 psi. I actually dyno'd 380 whp on the BR dyno on 93 octane @ 23psi.

I just wonder how my car would perform without the 104 and just runnin 93 and run the car how she was tuned. whats your take on that?

I think you could do 120+ on your pump map with 93oct, but you'd definitely have to nail the shift points.

You seem to have a bit more horsepower then me but I have a bit more torque then you. It may be that the difference in these 2 numbers are canceling themselves out which is why were both trapping about the same. Or, it could be that I'm a better driver or because your turbo is a little laggier. I for sure don't want to say I'm a better driver but that could be a reason why your not trapping higher??

Just my 2 cents!

Thanks man, I definitely did not want to let you, Blue Evo 8, or Soon2bEvo down.

I'm done drag racing the car though. I've beat on it enough. On to new horizons for me and my Evo. Plus, Robi Spec is coming to town.

Go get some gsc s1's. An ams vsr. A full race manifold and a meth and race gas tune. Max it!

kee1pride, dude, the list of parts you suggested him to add.....................so sad, he has mostly BR parts on the car and has just run the best MPH ever for a Green, don't you see a pattern?

if im not mistaken, i believe you did a test on the full race manifold and were very impressed with it. also if you didn't think much of the ams vsr then why do you sell it on your website? lastly s1's are upgrades to gsc 272s. im missing the part where i knocked a single buschur product

think porting his head would help any?

I think a VSR is a poor choice on a small turbo as with any log type mani your whole curve will shift to the right any gain would be cancelled out by the loss of TQ which is why this setup is so solid...a 35R or bigger I'm all for those type of intake manifolds. Again with Buschurs ported stocker running 146-148mph do you need a VSR? Cam differences would be neglible and not worth it. A new manifold would do what? You act as if the current setup has a big restriction in it at this point the biggest restriction is the turbo itself. The setup works and IMO you won't see a green go faster then his 10.92@130mph for a long time if one does I'd be willing to bet it's a Buschur car.

For an EVO green I would not suggest the AMS intake, it is excellent and we do sell them. The Full Race header is the best for $800 extra you can add 5-8 whp to the green. The GSC's, you know I am not going to suggest any GSC part to anyone, we don't see eye to eye. I didn't say you knocked out stuff, I just said you are suggesting things for the car I don't agree with.

Jasil, thanks, you and I are in agreement That is shocking since you are NABR member! haha
