I didn't say you knocked out stuff, I just said you are suggesting things for the car I don't agree with.

Jasil, thanks, you and I are in agreement That is shocking since you are NABR member! haha
thanks for the words on the VSR dave. you're right. maybe it is too big and will kill too much midrange for only a little more top end in this case. you should know by now that i hold all of your parts in very high regards so please don't take offense when i recomend anything. as far as the gsc cam recomendation, s1's are upgrades to the current gsc 272/272s in the car. proven to give around the same top end but a bit more meaty midrange. i know you're more of a cosworth and hks fan but the proof is in the pudding with the gsc cams. i doubt you recomended them to him and yet they now have helped create the highest trap speed green to this day. so for what it's worth, you have to give it to them. anyhow you never answered my question about porting his head. i'd really like to hear your thoughts on this. my head is already ported due to an adj cam gear failure. head blew so i figured why not, might as well get it done. i'm starting to wonder if when i get my green if i'll be the first green + ported head combination. oh and I WILL be switching a lot of my parts over to BR parts in time. mainly intercooler, and upper and lower IC piping. later on if you find that your tubular manifold combined with the green makes more power than the stock ported and coated, please let me know.

He does have the highest trap speeds but does not have the highest/hp torque, my car is still the dyno king haha Not that the dyno is the end all to what goes fastest down the track. My car was running a ported head and so have quite a few others with the green on it we've done here. The head, if done correctly is not going to hurt the power, that's for sure. Most guys get into the head and just screw them up to be quite honest. Very few cylinders heads that come through here that were ported somewhere else were done "correctly". I imagine "correctly" is a matter of opinion but since we are fairly proven (being modest here) I'd say our opinion should count for something.

no need to be modest. i saw a friend wearing a shirt a long time ago that said "earn the right to brag". you've earned it, so by all means go for it. anyhow why did you make a thread abou dadriva car saying he made the most if your car has made more? what combination of parts differ from your car to his? my guess would be revolvers. i originally planned on those till i saw... i think it was evolutionary's setup fail with revolvers and he was very disappointed. that turned me away from them as they seem to be hit or miss. i dont have the money to waste on a hit and miss product.

At drag racing, no. At auto-x... hmmmm.

Sorry, Bobby... everyone's kissin' your **** so I had to come in a be a *****.

Awesome car, awesome times, great driving, but I've told you that in person before. No denying...

Anyway, it's too bad I am a sissy and last time I sat in the driver's seat we probably hit a max speed of 24 mph. I am not used to handling something with that much power, especially on the street! Besides, we both know she's a little prone to over-steer when pushed

Bobby's car has made the most power OTHER than my own car. It should say that in whatever post I made.

My car had Revolvers, ported head, built shortblock.

Evolutionary's power was down, I DO NOT FEEL IT WAS THE CAMS AT ALL. That is the opinion of others. The cams were never checked and unless are checked against a set such as the ones right out of my own car, we will probably never know. The Revolvers were known for outstanding torque gains, Evolutionary's car did make outstanding torque. As a matter of fact he wanted me to kill the torque it made as it was "too much".

too much torque is subjective as "too much" is dependant on each individual driver. whats too much for some is little or normal to others.

anyhow have you checked into this thread at all david? https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ight=revolvers

that also strayed me from them. not coming at you sideways or trying to prove you wrong or anything. just wondered what your thoughts on that was.

Come on, you're just arguing to argue. Did you see how much torque he was making and how early it came on? It was ridiculous. No one would ever consider that "little or normal." It was outrageous and unmanageable for autocross.

Yes, I saw that thread. Did you read it? The first guy that made it said all tolerances were within .005 of advertised. My opinion on the Revolvers is the guys having problems with them or blaming them had other issues.

Same opinion I always had.
