1/8 mile times 06 gsr...
Well I finally got out to the track tonight for my first time. I was pretty nervous so my first runs were crappy...but I ended up with...
Best run
R/T:1.083
60 Ft:1.764
Trap:86.2
E/T:7.916
Mods-TBE,MBC and jestr tune...This was done on pump gas spiking about 24 psi...
What do you guys think? I know my 60ft can improve a bit more...Any ideas what I will run in the 1/4 mile?

MR06Evo, when I say "power," I'm not referring to your dyno reading. All too often, people get their dyno number and are happy, but then it doesn't show up at the track. The problem here is that 1/8th mile is basically useless. For all we know, you might pick up 27mph on the back-half and hit 12.2 @ 113. We can't assume that will happen, so we can only make a guesstimate based off your 1/8th, which indicates much less than 330whp.

The way they measure the traps is different (usually) than at a 1/4-mile, and you have to worry about staying in 3rd or shifting to 4th. On a 1/4-mile, you don't even think twice...you just shift to 4th when it's proper without worrying about it, and then your final ET/MPH show the full ability of the car, whereas the 1/8th may appear weak or strong depending on the powerband and shift points. Analyzing times from an 1/8th-mile track can be misleading, and hopefully they are in this case.
^yea because I thought I was were I was suppose to be power wise...Don't most 9's make 330whp and 330tq with basic mods???I had a good time though and you're right my launches kept getting better so it great practice...I want to make it out to the 1/4 mile track but its 2 hours from my house....
