Nice numbers on the tune! Sean, I'm looking forward to meeting you and having you tune my car.
I have a 10.00 cage in the supra, it's a street car with ac and all that so I didn't want to put anymore cage in it. I had to be on the brakes pretty much all day so that it wouldn't go quicker than 10.0 or faster than 135mph.
Thankfully none of the cars in that class were fast enough to push me into getting kicked out, so in the last run where I was in the final by myself, I went all the way and posted a 9.6@146. I am glad they didn't DQ me.

I was on and off the gas on most of the races, just trying to stay a little bit ahead of the other cars.

No reason to name call, that is just asking for trouble . It's ok to argue once ina while as long as you are supported with facts or atleast an educated guess.

I am just confused as to why the power falls off so drastically, especially on a GT35R and a 2.0, it should make as much power as your willing to rev.

MPH is low because he's shifting too soon and falling out of boost IMO. With that curve, he needs to rev it to 9k rpm. Why is that 35r so laggy? I would expect peak TQ area to be around 1,000rpm earlier.

Peake Torque would not hit 1000RPMS earlier, no way. I have however been in a IX with an AMS GT35R on the street at it starts pulling hard at 3800RPM's. Don't forget that the street willspool a turbo much faster then a Dyno would.

As far as the power dropping off, I am beginning to question the Cosworth cams which I doubt were designed with the GT35R in mind. I am GUESSING that they were really designed for a stock or stock like turbo.

Why does teh power drop of so much, that has to be the issue, shouldn't it climb till alteaslt 8500?

I disagree completely for two reasons:

- You say "with that curve, he needs to rev it to 9k." Did you look at the curve? It falls off quite a bit by 8k, so by 9k, it will be down 100-150whp from peak. It would make no sense to rev it to 9k
- You say he's shifting too soon, but I just showed above how he is keeping pace with a car trapping 130 all the way to the end even with a shift to 5th but then randomly has a much lower trap at the end

If he were shifting so early that he was falling out of boost, his ET would have suffered greatly.

Maybe a slight retune is in order to keep the power from dropping so much at the End. is it a safety precaution? Runnign out of fuel up top? I would think that a 35R would otherwise keep the boost constant at 28-35PSI (whatever it is set to) on the 2.0 well beyound 8000 RPM's, I am just uncertain as to why the power drops off so fast.

If you could swing it, get an Aftermarket Intake Manifold, AMS makes a Gorgious one and just allows a superior top end increase with some additonal lag added. There is a thread on it's gains if you search for it.

Perhaps you could come tune it, when are you available?

Please look at other dyno sheets of cars making that HP with the stock intake manifold, you will notice a similar characterstic. It really isn't that bad.

Just wondering is all. I guess the addition of an intake manifold would really help.

Nice Runs!!!!

Interested in this too, I was suprised to see the trap where it is for the dyno graph... I think it can go faster too the way it sits...

what size tires do you have on there?
