it was a good weekend for me.I put in a fullrace 35R kit on my red evo 9mr fri night came out of the shop 4:30am sat to be at IVEYs at on 10am sat so he can tune the car.the car was tune on pump & meth it made 545hp 447tq on a reflash so now it was track time.sunday at the sumer slam I ran the car on the street tire class on the the frist run I didnt launch the car on the 2step just to get a feel for the new setup, I went 12.1@122 hitting the revlimiter in 4th gear, then came the frist round Ihad to run the man him self Sean Ivey with his supra.I went 11.0@123 shifting in to 5th on the stock tires.Just like I was Ivey was very happy that the car went that fast. my goal now is to hit the high 10s before I get the BFGs dr.

 

nice im putting on my 35 and meth to go along with my cosworth cams right now.. cant wait to see what it makes..

 

Nice runs man, need to get rid of the Mr 6 spd, I am sure you are losing with that.

damn... i was just looking to hit around 5 with my setup... but looks like i will hit over 5 easily.. damn man nice numbers.. how does it pull compared to with stock turbo and flash and stuff.

WOW this is the setup I want, I have the same car too What boost ? What RPMs do you shift at? Do the cams allow you to shift higher, say 8500 safely?

Making good power, and the driving looks good, but you're really about 10mph below where you should be with 540+whp. Have you tried going to 5th? I know it sucks dealing with the gearing in the 6spd, but 5th gear is not overdrive, so it can rip, too...

No, that's only 24mph up top, which is about like the stock turbo. However, it's obvious to me this is a 10-sec car that can do closer to 30mph up top, but the gearing is messing him up. I don't think he should ride out 4th to the end. I think he should shift to 5th well before 4th runs out, and then let 5th rip *** through the traps...

 

yes I did shift in to 5th in that run.

 

Hmm, then I don't know why the MPH is so low overall, but that explains why you got 11.0 at such a low mph without drag tires.
