The title of this thread should be changed to Stock Looking Turbo.

I also agree with everyone else. It is a "modified stock turbo". The thread should have read stock looking turbo runs.... I still have to congratulate you guys on running such good times .

Regardless, this car is running great times for a stock appearing turbo. The last several pages are exactly the reason that I started a thread a few months ago concerning the difference between stock and stock appearing. At the time I was chastised, but now the reason is on the forefront. By knowing how the 20G-LT was being 'categorized' by the Evo Community, we were able to set our goals. I think Oscar and several others made an honest mistake. To their environment, it's simply a stock turbo. In other words 'not a turbo swap'. If the wheel is smaller than the 20G-LT, then this accomplishment is even greater. A 10.83 is no small feat for a stock appearing turbo of any type. Don't get me wrong, we're going to have to one-up you Oscar next time we go to the track, but until then, we give you big kudos and congratulations. You've worked for it and you deserve it. Now, if we can get our car back, we'll be looking for an open track.

Been gone for a few days and just got back. Now the truth is out and that is exactly all I was trying to say also. Not a stock turbo. No hating, congrats on a great running evo. Very impressive times. Just that the title is a little misleading.

The turbo is not stock and the thread was started with the intention of making someone look good. Read between the lines and you will see. It is a shame when people resort to these tactics. In Puerto Rico a stock turbo is tha same as in the US. It must remain exactly as it came in the car. Stuff like porting and changing the actuator is acceptable, but changing the wheels is not. The car has no nitrous, it is just not a stock turbo.

I am not even thinking of 26. I think the number is close to 23 PSI. What I am not clear is if this 23 PSI is the peak/oversoot or the steady state.
