I noticed wheel size has a pretty big effect on 60' times. I was running 18" with 255 and was hitting 1.9 2.0 60'. I put on the stock rims with cheap tires and now I am cutting high 1.7 60'. i am not trying to brag i actually suck at drag racing, I just like to do it.

 

^ You must have been spinning pretty bad for a 2.5-60. But a low 12 recovery isnt too bad. Id wanna see what you do on a good track!

 

Thats true in some cases, but a way around that can be the tire pressure. I was running on 255's and pulled a 1.63-60. That was my best on 18's.

 

I launch at 6000 and try to ride the clutch a bit until it gets moving.My best 60 is a 1.48 but usualy average 1.5-1.6 region

 

yea, 7.71 -95 mph with stock evo8 turbo and 11.9 115mph,but most guys here say their trap are 120+ with my same 1/8 trap speed,i believe was a little fat the mixture, 11.4 with 50/50 meth and was hurting my trap.right know im in the 11.5afr zone with the 625ml nozzle of SMC.also, the 100mph in the 1/8 i was shifting to high near 9000 that was killing my time and trap,i have a lot of work to do on my driving.
