11.2@124 stock turbo spray

Went to the track last night in the quest for a 10sec timeslip. Jetted the car up to 100shot, .046nos jet. Didnt get a chance to tune beforehand so made a few changes @ the track but issues with the laptop and capturing logs made it difficult to tune. The car was seeing knock on the 11.20pass on the shifts (I never lifted). I didnt spin all night so Im sure I can raise the 2step a bit. All runs were on c16 and I started with the boost at 24psi and by the last pass it was @ 27psi, dont think the timing was any higher than 15deg anywhere in the map(have to check the laptop). Air fuel was decent in the 11.8-12.0 area.

The car is just a bolt on IX. K&N drop in, megan 3'' downpipe back running without the muffler, walbro pump, hks evc boost controller, fp wastegate actuator, GSC S1s, Nisei front mount injen lower pipe stock upper, and tuning with ECUflash. Still has stock airbox and intake hose, stock upper intercooler pipe, stock mani, stock 02 housing. Transmision is stock with the addition of an ACT HDSS and streetlite flywheel. Both front and rear crashbeams have been removed to drop weight. Car was driven 180mi roundtrip to the track with the A/Ckickin and mp3 player blasting. Once I arrived at the track I unbolted the muffler, threw in a few gallons of c16 and unbolted the mirrors(every little bit helps), I also removed the glovebox because that is easier than emptying it and removed the spare tire and jack.

Hope I can afford to get back to the track for some more tuning better 60fts and a 10sec timeslip.

GUYS!!! READ CAREFULLY his post... he explains everything!!!

Congrats in the passes!!!

Are you willing to share some more technical stuff on the nitrous?

What kind of trigger do you use to spray? What about timing? Usually on C16 i know the timing can go even more than 20 on the upper rpm but with nitrous you are suppose to pull timing, not add...

I am curious on the method you use to spray... I would assume that you activate the nitrous after you launch since 2-step and active spray is a no no or that you have a push button on the steering wheel to control the spray...

Congrats again!

Im so pissed at my laptop right now I dont even want to look at it but I will check it out later today and let you know exact timing numbers, maybe screenshot. I believe I have some room left with the timing.

As far as activation I have two switches that must be activated. First being a WOT switch, second is a toggle. So I just flip the toggle as soon as my left foot is off the clutch. The WOT switch shuts of nitrous between shifts since I dont normally powershift on spray. I keep the toggle tucked in under the ash tray when not in use so no switches are visible in the car.

I didnt answer that question because I was a bit offended. Almost every nitrous kit you will see injects the nitrous just before the throttlebody.

I am using a wet kit which injects both fuel and nitrous through one nozzle. I have hacked the stock rubber portion of the upper intercooler pipe and clamped in a cast aluminum elbow tapped for the nitrous nozzle. It look's pretty cheesy but prevents me from having a boost leak.
