Also it is my opinion that the AMS Evo II is so much faster that I hardly think weight is the only factor.
I saved a LOT of $$$ by doing the majority of the work in my garage - IF I had to pay someone to do it all it would have been very costly
Don't forget the enjoyment and the pride of saying you did it yourself.

I still have the sock springs and retainers and it felt like I was having major valve float as I approached 8,000
