So he was using Nitrous on the 11.62 run, but the car ran only .01 slower without it and a different driver.

HOLY ****!! On the #2 run, how did the car do 102.83mph in the 1/8th mile? That's FAST. Are you sure it's not a typo, and wasn't on NOS or anything? With an >118mph trap speed, I find that 102.83mph is rather high for the 1/8th mile.

BTW, I work in Stamford. One Station Place across the street from the train station.

 

I dont want to ruffle any feathers but I seen an Evo 8 run a 10.30 at I believe a 141 mph. I will try to find some pics of the car. I do however remember it had a stroke kit and a T-60 turbo on it and yes it was an EVO 8. Just for reference this was at Baytown Raceway in Texas...

 

If that is true, that is a big story to me and a couple of others. Can you at least provide a lead so that we can look into it?

 

Look on the March 04 issue of MODIFIED MAG for two evo 8's that are faster than yours. Your car is definitely up there though, very nice.
