If there is alot of money on the line, I say he is gonna hit you with a 150shot, and then tell you he didn't. Put your friend in his car to keep it clean. Look closely under the hood as well.

tell him to take out the panel in the back left (driverside) of the trunk. Thats the most common place for camaro guys to hide a bottle. Maybe under a jacket behind his seat if hes dumb. But do it from a dig dude. Tell him rolls are for fat chicks

 

Haha.. liking the last post. I have a feeling I will be okay. I had a buddy of mine w/ a ws6 putting close to 440 to the ground go with me from a dig. No problem.. jumped him by about 2.5 and he never gained ground .. not even once we broke 100.. call b.s. if you wanna, but i know his mods and i know he's a good driver.. (it was on private porperty)

 

If you are putting down 340whp on Bushurs dyno, or hell, even a Dynojet, and all he has is a full exhaust, you will pull him from a roll. Period.

Yup, I'm gonna call bull**** on this. If his car really put down 440RWHP and he could never gain on you - even on highway speeds where the LS1 truly shines and the Evo tends to fall behind - he cannot drive worth a crap. Alternatively, his car did not put down 440RWHP.

 

I had a 98 Camaro SS 6 Speed with full exhaust and boltons. 12.40 @ 113mph on street tires. The car made 340rwhp/356rwtq.

My EVO VIII makes about 320-330whp on a dynojet and I feel the 2 cars would be very close in a race, even from a roll.

i agree with you 100% the only reason a roll was invented was go give then an advantage. where else have you EVER seen something like this used. if you would do it at the track, it would be from a dig. so there you go dont do it any other way

+headers+good tune. Some weight reduction, and a good tall gear. He will make you look stupid. It sounds like to me your getting hustled anyway. I don't know any camaros that like to run from a roll. All of them here dead hook in the dirt. They 60' 1.3's 1.4's while us awd are stuck at 1.5x on 4 dr's in heavy vht. Which i'm sure you wont be.
