"David" (800awhp evo 8) vs. "Goliath" (1200hp 911t)

I'm sorry but that EVO has a snow's chance in hell on running around that 911. I would rather he bailed out on running than running, losing and saying there was something wrong with the car. No excuses. Correct me if i'm wrong but that car was doing low-mid 150's traps when it was in the 800-900whp range. It has 1200whp+ now.

That's what 'the people' told David about Goliath. This is drag racing gentlemen, anything can happen on 'any given sunday'. Fact is the 911t makes more power. The questions are, who starts the race with the better reaction time, who goes through the gears flawlessly, and who gets to the finnish line first?
If you give-up on the race before it happens, you might as well stay home.
Back in the days, we were racing our stock turbo dsm's against BIG turbo supra's and nitrous mustangs and ruled. Et is king.

anything can happen any time you line up.. It wouldnt be the 1st or the last time a car that is slower by .5 or 1.0 has won a drag race..
