a trend I'm noticing is how dedicated Buschur and crew are about making sure that each and every one of these cars coming out are not only making great power for the mods but also making sure they track just as well...taking time out of their lives to ensure it. I'm very impressed, keep up the good work.
awesome times.
but the dd driven real street car stuff is getting over played...if you are running on 4 slicks and race gas...
unless you daily drive it like that....
it is a RACECAR...in race trim.
run 4 street tires at 33 psi...and the octane you fill up with at the pump and run it...see what she does...
if you drive it off the street in to staging lanes and run it..that is a dd driven street car time...

It's foolish to have a car running on pump gas and not give it all she's got at the track. That's the whole point. That doesn't mean it's not a street car that gets driven daily with the same mods. Even I use drag radials due to lack of traction on TNT nights, but it's 100% a daily-driven street car that even has a babyseat in the rear. I can choose to drive on the drag radials or not. I don't use them as my DD tires, since I prefer top-shelf extreme summer tires for DD, but I do drive these to/from the track. I also use E-85, which DOES come from the pump, and it's just as good as race gas. If I chose to run 91 daily, that wouldn't make my car less of a street car when doing e-85 at the track.
Plus, several of these cars have already run mid-10s at 135 on 93 with their street tires!!

He's just hating Mike like he did in the one other thread a couple weeks ago insulting people's intelligence, grammar, etc... then he showed his true colors.

well all of our cars have gone mid 10s in complete street form. I drove my car into the track, took **** out of my trunk and backseat, hooked up my laptop and went to the staging lanes. I then went 10.66 @ 135 on pump gas! Thats as much of a street car as you are going to get. The most I have done so far is lower my tire pressure! Yes I will be buying slicks and then going on race gas, but that is because the tracks around here suck and we need slicks to get traction when your talking about 550+ whp cars!

You have to be kidding me right?!?!?!
I don't know why people make such a big deal about slicks......i mean they are intended for use at the track hence the waterbox
To me it's about getting the power you make down to the ground to let the hp shine.
I'd much rather throw some slicks on than beat the hell out of the car trying to get it to hook up over 500+ on street radials......to me that's a recipe for parts failure as well as frustration!
I too know all to well about shoddy track prep so having a forgiving tire like a slick helps out a lot...........do you see many PR cars running at their tracks on street radials almost every night .......i don't think so........and just imagine when the tracks are preped well with slicks
thats' how we see those 1.3 60's

Wow...how can you hate so hard?
Good runs man! What do you attribute the 4-5mph increase in the 1/4 mph? How much boost on those runs? Picking 38mph in the back half is plain ridiculous!
