9 second Buschur Built Monster
I am not trying to start any BS personally I think the Evo is a racecar period driven on the street.
But I mean if you want real street trim numbers run it like you daily drive. Not saying you are going to get your best times that way.
I mean that is what is so desirable about the pump gas numbers on the cars you produce...it's on PUMP GAS!!
Not RACE gas made for RACE CARS.
Slicks well they can knock off a ton of time..and are def not street car material.
I see your point of saying street car meaning not a gutted tin can with no power steering or a/c etc. trailored to the track.
So when in your opinion does a "street car" become a "race car"?

This can be argued all day all night.. If race gas is made for race cars what is E-85 then since its bought at the pump?? We used it to replace Q16 on our car and ran 10's on it..
A race car is a car with No Interior and Lexan Windows IMO.. If you have glass windows, interior and the car can drive 100 miles w/o a trailer its a street car.. Thats my OPINION..
E-85 is not reg old pump...imo...yeah and we can't get it over here in NJ anyways ..
you can get 100 oct at certain pumps over here and it is not reg "pump gas"...91 or 93 standard stuff.
I guess it's a matter of opinion...
The NHRA considers you a race car at 11.399 cause a cage has to go in at that point..by their rules...you are driving a race car.

wow so stock z06 is a race car.. Badass.. You have gone off the deep end with your analogy sir.. apples to baseballs is what your comparing now..
why did Nopi/NHRA call the class i run TURBO STREET??? I could run slicks, and race fuel.. even E-85...

However I did get kicked out for going 11.47 without a roll bar. lol
No the Z06 is a street legal stock car.
I guess the best way to look at is ...
"Is your car street legal?" If it's not it's a race car.
Well that seems to be the dilemma with a few cars at Englishtown. You buy a stock car and you need a roll cage in it...if you want to run in it.

OBDII + AEM = Fail right there you're done.
I am done arguing.
Good thing we're not there then. These cars in discussion = street legal in Ohio.
Just about every car on this forum would fail inspection in Cali so does that mean EVERYONE on here has a race car?
Good day!

gamebred, I tried to agree with you but the last two pages of points you made have taken you so far out of reality, I wish I had just ignored you. I think you probably have a very slow car and like to have excuses why it's slow, it's just a street car, maybe. I don't know but you are not living in reality.
BTW, I do drive my car to the track just the way I drive it on the street. I don't change a single thing on my personal car. Not tires, not fuel, not the tune, not the boost. It is driven there and it runs 9.4 at 155 exactly like I drive it every single time it is driven. In our county we have NO emmission testing. My car is a street car.
