I have tried a few intakes and the stock ported is the best so far. The other intakes do pull harder above 7k but it does not make the car any faster in the 1/4 and I lose a ton of low end.

Did you port the stock one yourself?

What about trying to see what you can do on a Green before you go with a larger framed turbo?

How aggressive did you go with the porting of the intake manifold, if you don't mind me asking? Not trying to kill any possible 'secrets' or anything, just curious for myself as I am about to port one for my own car that's going to be running an ETS 6262 turbo kit!

Well I gasket matched the intake side and I got back as far as I could and made sure I kept the taper from the back to the runner forward. I also opened up the TB side for the 65mm to flow right.

There is quite a bit to port out.

I would love to try the RED or Green but ETS is willing to really hook me up on a kit and FP dose not show me the same love. I tried to see if I could get the Red but 15% off retail was not the right deal for me.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I have done to mine. And there was a pretty big pile of shavings when I finished, so there is a good bit to port out. Thanks for the help. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread and looking for others to see how your change to the stock turbo setup runs and to see how the 30r works out. Good luck!

The 3082R is what FP calls their 3065. It is a 35R compressor wheel and 30R turbine wheel combo.
